Tom Leahy
Thomas Michael Leahy, Born 12-13-1958. Bay City, Michigan, The United States of America. At age 9 Tom Was handed his first guitar, a gift from his father. At age 15 Tom began his first band. During his High School Years Tom Picked up on Bass, buying a used Gibson EB-3. Since then Tom has become one of the most influential bassists around, as well as guitarist. Tom's influences for bass are; Geddy Lee, Cris Squire, John Entwistle, Jaco Pastorius, Stanley Clarke, Billy Sheehan, Steve Harris, Victor Wooten, Stuart Hamn, John Patitucci and Beaver Felton to name a few. Toms guitar influences range from: Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Michael Schenker, Frank Marino, Jeff Beck, Ingwie Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert, Ronnie Stricker, Eddie Van Halen, Ronnie Montrose, Rory Gallagher, Steve Vai, Frank Gambale, Steve Morse, and Eric Johnson. As a Bassist Tom has a extensive list of credits to his resume: recording credits with Verloren hoop, Ghetto Blaster, OUTRAGED, Close Call, OverReaction Jackson, the Dolly LLama's, November, Postraphelites and VIRGIN AXX. Tom presently supports bass for Radio Flier and George Damron and The Lever Action Playboy's. Has stage experience with Metal Storm, ZUES, Street Trash, Ozmantis, Kalander, Caragon, Radio Flier, Sons of Thunder, George Damron and the LeverAction Playboy's, Cross N' Dagger, Damascus, as well as those he recorded with. Toms bands has shared stages with BUCK CHERRY, Questionmark and the Mysterians, STIR, Cowboy Mouth & Jennifer Nettles. Out of a need to express some of his writting style, Tom found It neccesary to once again play guitar in a band as the key writer.
